2022 was a great year of growth for Camp Tekakwitha. We have even had to turn some groups away because many of our weekends were full. Consider us as a venue for your youth retreats in 2023.

We have updated the information on Google Maps. In Google Maps, go to our address (8500 Deer Haven Rd, 35146.) Click on the camp icon, then click on "street view." Camp Tekakwitha is a privately owned, and funded religious camp. The camp is owned by the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama. It is located in St. Clair County, Alabama, the camp is on 120 acres of hills with a chapel, bunk houses, seven acre lake, walking trails, lodge and pool. The camp is a place of retreat, designed for like-minded youth groups, and church organizations. At this camp the Catholic Church seeks to teach by act and deed the principles of our religion. All groups and individuals visiting Camp Tekakwitha are subject to the camp rules.

Proselytizing of other users or groups is not permitted and may cause your group to be removed from the camp. Pets are not permitted |
